Description

A hand-coloured lithograph on 4to-size thin, white wove paper. A circular garland of flowers, including pink roses and yellow and white flowers, surrounds Cupid preparing to fire his arrow at the centre. A lithographed verse above and below: 'A garland of Roses I send to my fair / The little God Cupid you'll find seated there / My message he carries, will tell you my Tale / His Eloquence's such as I hope may prevail ... And hail you with rapture, my dear Valentine'. The interior is blank.
