Love Valentine card

White embossed paper with shaped edges is overlaid with a silver, embossed lace-paper frame mounted on paper springs and affixed with identical flower scraps at each corner. A smaller frame of silver lace-paper is mounted at the centre on paper springs and backed with a needlework panel embroidered with title and verse: 'LOVE / THE BLOSSOM IN THE / BOWERS MY LOVE! / SEND PERFUME ON THE BREEZE, / BUT THERE ARE / OTHER FLOWERS MY LOVE / WITH SCENTS AS RICH AS THESE: / THE FRAGRANCE I / WOULD SEEK / THY SMILING LIPS STILL BEAR; / AND WHEN I SEE THY / BLUSHING CHEEK / I FIND MY ROSES THERE'. A yellow silk tassel is attached to the edge of the central panel. The interior is blank.
