Description

An oval-shaped valentine of lilac coloured embossed paper with central oval window, decorated with a flower scrap at upper centre and a figure scrap at lower centre. A letterpress verse printed on a square of white wove paper is affixed to the inside right-hand page and displays through the central window: 'CONSTANT LOVE / when brighter days are / flinging / Around thee fame and / treasure. / And joy to thee is bringing / The flowery wreaths of / mirth and pleasure …'.
