Description

White embossed paper overlaid on paper springs with a layer of silver lace-paper with a central oval window. A third, smaller layer of silver lace-paper is mounted on paper springs and forms a frame around the central oval window. It is decorated with a collage of white silk leaves and linen flowers with wax stamens. At the centre of the window is a silver framed oval panel of padded white silk, which is embroidered with flowers and the motto: 'Forger Me Not'. The padded centre may have originally been scented. The interior is blank.
