Valentine card

A white embossed paper frame with gilt detailing and shaped edges is affixed with paper springs to a slightly larger, white embossed front paper. The springs have been largely stuck down and so the 'raised' effect of the valentine is no longer possible to achieve. At the centre of the frame is a chromolithographed scrap of a thatched cottage and orchard with a printed motto on a blue swag: 'Come dwell with me'. A scrap of a flaming torch with urn and letter is affixed at upper centre. The front paper is adhered to the back paper.
