Valentine card
Publisher: J.T. Wood & Co
A small 64mo-size valentine of white wove paper with a lace-paper edge. At the centre, within a circular gilt-frame is a roundel of a chromolithographed marriage scene with a reduced palette of printed colours (pink, blue, green, yellow and brown). An outer frame of gilt, lace-paper is affixed around the central image and a collage of hand-coloured paper leaves with circular motto with a forget-me-not frame: 'FORGET / ME / NOT'.
