Description

Embossed white lace-paper (front adhered to the back) with a central roundel containing a hand-coloured lithograph of a still life on a shelf with a vase of flowers and figurine underneath a glass dome. A framed picture hangs on the wall above. Similar in style to two other valentines with the same lace-paper design and central roundels containing hand-coloured lithographs which are all probably by the same hand and mounted on adjacent leaves of album P.14417-R. See P.14417-R-84 and P.14417-R-87.
