Valentine card
Publisher: Unknown
A valentine centrepiece. An uncoloured lithograph in black ink of a rose and butterfly printed onto white wove paper (cut from a larger sheet) edged with a circular frame of gold leaf. Below, printed on the same sheet of paper and trimmed, is a swag printed in gold lithography which bears the verse: 'Go little flower I pray impart / the love that burns this aching he[ar]t'. P.14417-R-89 is another roundel centrepiece and swag with different image and verse and P.14417-R-87 features another roundel and swag in the same style but with the elements separated and mounted onto a lace-paper front. All are mounted onto the same leaf in album P.14417-R.
