Valentine card
Publisher: Unknown
A single piece of heavy cream card with an embossed border in high relief. A gilt-edged panel with champfered corners at the centre contains a lithograph with hand-colouring in gouache of a woman in mourning walking along a garden path. A gilt-edged paper scroll at lower centre is printed in red ink: 'Tis better late / than never'. The style and design of the lithograph and scroll are similar to those seen in P.14417-R-92, which is mounted directly below on the same album leaf.
