Valentine card
Publisher: Unknown
A single piece of heavy cream card with an embossed border. At the centre and overlapping the border slightly is a large lithograph with hand-colouring in gouache of a gentelman leaning in through a casement window with leaded panes to speak to a woman in gold dress sitting on a pink sofa. A paper scroll printed in gold ink and with a motto printed in black ink is affixed at lower centre: 'I love thee for thy own dear / self'.
