Description

A valentine of white wove paper with an embossed border. At the centre is a panel of heavy paper printed with a hand-coloured lithograph of a couple walking along a garden path. A gilt-edged paper scroll at lower centre is printed in red ink: 'O come with me, with me rejoice, / It's love calls, how sweet that voice'. The front paper is adhered to the back paper. The style and design of the lithograph and scroll are similar to those seen in P.14417-R-90, which is mounted directly above on the same album leaf.
