Doubt Me Not Valentine card

Loose inside album P.14417-R between nos. 3 and 4. A very small valentine of gilt and lilac lace-paper of a design of roses and a putto with a basket of flowers. The lilac areas are hand-coloured. A circular window at lower centre contains a silk panel with verse printed in black ink: 'DOUBT / ME NOT. / Doubt that the sun is / fire, / Doubt that the stars do / move, / Doubt Truth to be a liar, / But never doubt I / love.'. The interior is blank. 'WOOD' is stamped along the spine at lower left.
