Description

Loose inside album P.14417 between nos. 55 and 58. A front of silver and white embossed lace-paper mounted onto a secondary support of heavy card. The paper and the card have been trimmed around the edges. A hand-drawn and painted glass containing flower stems cut from heavy paper is affixed at lower centre to a hand-cut silver embossed paper 'frame' mounted on paper springs. The glass with flowers lifts to reveal an oval of padded white silk at the centre which is printed in black ink with the motto: 'FORGET me not.'. The verso is blank.
