Description

Silver and white embossed lace-paper of a design with scrolls, tassels and a double staircase, in landscape orientation. There are hand-coloured areas in blue, pink and yellow paint. A central lunette of a scallop shell design has a gauze blind and is mounted with a hand-coloured lithograph in sepia inks of a queen (Venus?) wearing green dress and gold crown and standing inside a scallop shell. The front paper is adhered to the back. 'WINDSOR' is stamped along the spine at upper centre.
