Description

A simple, home-made valentine of a single piece of heavy card cut into a heart shape and mounted with a cut-paper heart of cream paper with lithographed verse in black ink: 'THESE BLOSSOMS GROW / MY VALENTINE / TO LET YOU KNOW / MY HEART IS THINE'. The heavy card has a drawn and painted border of forget-me-nots flowers against a green background. The verso is covered in red paper. The valentine is contained inside a sheet of ruled writing paper which has been folded into a makeshift envelope.
