Description

A valentine of white lace-paper with central leaf-shaped window backed with white silk and mounted with silk leaves and cut-paper hand-coloured flowers with hand-painted stems and leaves. A silver dove ornament is affixed at upper centre. Remnants of paper at lower centre indicate a loss, probably of a paper scroll with verse or motto. The interior is blank. The valentine has been folded twice.
