Jar and cover. Hard-paste porcelain painted in underglaze blue. The jar is of elliptical form tapering to a low, spreading foot with stepped footring and recessed, glazed base. The cover is attached to very low neck. Painted all over with meandering foliage and flower heads.
History note: H.S. Reitlinger (d.1950); the Reitlinger Trust, Maidenhead, from which transferred in 1991.
