Dish. Hard-paste porcelain painted in underglaze blue, iron-red and gilding. The dish has an uneven, everted rim, and shallow rounded sides springing from a low, slightly tapered foot. The interior well is decorated with two ho-ho birds, one standing and one in flight amongst peonies and flowers. The cavetto and rim are decorated with three panels containing solid gilt circles interspersed with a profusion of flower heads, and gilt edged rim.
