Description

Ojime. Circular wood bead decorated in guri technique with insects and scrolling foliage. Layers of green, red, black and yellow lacquer are carved in v-shaped cuts to reveal the sequence of the layers which are topped in black. There is a stippled effect on the ochre ground.
