Note

"This edition of Darkfire has been designed and composed electronically by Susan Colberg. The prints by Sean Caulfield and corresponding poems by Jonathan Hart were created through a collaborative process. The images were developed on intaglio plates using mezzotint, etching and chine collé. The Spill and Cup include some hand tinting with acrylic ink and Black Wind has a layer of digital printing. The typeface used is Dante, designed by Giovanni Mardersteig, and the type was printed from polymer plates. The images are printed on Somerset, Gampi and Honen and the texts on Somerset. Sean Caulfield printed the images and texts with the technical assistance of Steven Dixon (letterpress), Marc Siegner (digital printing) and graduate students in the printmaking program at the University of Alberta." --colophon.
