Proof of an illustration on page 5, Volume II of Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales, No. 63 of the publications of the Golden Cockerel Press, Waltham St. Lawrence, Berkshire, 1929. The block was subsequently used for ilustration as Plate 34 of "Engravings 1928-1933" by the artist, printed by Messrs. Faber & Faber Ltd., London, 1934.
