History note: Commissioned by Nigel Cameron (1920-2017) from Elisabeth Frink (1930-93) on 8 January 1953; made between 20 January and 14 April 1953; delivered to Cameron on 22 May 1953; sent to Hong Kong in 1964 when nose was damaged in transit; sent back to Frink for repair to nose in July 1992 and returned to Hong Kong at end of 1992.
