Sketch about Irish politics featuring Daniel O'Connell (as the Giant) and Anglesey (General, Sir Henry William Paget, 1st Marquis of Anglesey), Stanley (Edward George Geoffrey Smith-Stanley [14th Earl of Derby 1851-69]) and Plunket (William Conyngham Plunket, 1st Baron), who attempt to restrain him at centre right. The artist's initials in monogram at lower left: 'HB'. Title printed below the border: 'POLITICAL FRANKENSTEINS. / Alarmed at the progress of a Giant of their own Creation.'.
