Lithograph (uncoloured) on white wove paper. Inlaid within a frame of buff wove paper (approx. height 360mm x width 515mm). Wellington stands in lawyer's robes, a canon seen behind him to his left and holding a mace in his right hand. Unsigned. Title printed below the border: 'A GREAT DOCTOR OF CANNON LAW.'. The first 'N' of 'CANNON' is struckthrough. The publisher's details printed below the border to the left: 'Published by Thos. McLean, 26, Haymarket, April 21st 1834.'. A small, circular blind stamp at lower left: 'THOs. MCLEAN'. Printer's details below the border to the right: 'A. Ducôté's Lithography, 70, St Martins Lane'. Printed above the border at upper right: 'HB Sketches No 313'.
