Lithograph (uncoloured) on white wove paper. Inlaid within a frame of buff wove paper (approx. height 360mm x width 515mm). John Bull stands on the right remonstrating with two fighting dogs in the centre foreground (Lord Brougham and Lord Durham). A third dog (Wellington) marches off in the left background carrying a bone marked 'Power' in his mouth. Signed with artist's monogram at lower left: 'HB'. Title printed below the border: 'TROIS DOGS,'. Below the title: 'A Graphic Tale, with a Moral, _for those who can find it out!_'. The publisher's details printed below the border to the left: 'Published by T. McLean, 26, Haymarket, Novr. 24th. 1834.'. Printer's details below the border to the right: 'Ducôté & Stephen's Lithogy, 70, St. Martins Lane'. Printed above the border at upper right: 'HB Sketches No. 349'.
