Etching on paper. Portrait of an old woman known as 'Mrs Lagden', half-length, facing front and looking down and towards her right. A vignette in outline after a drawing by Tyson. Etched onto the plate at lower left: 'Tyson del.t 1770' and with title and quotation below: 'Mrs Lagden / of Bournbridge in Cambridgeshire / "I was not reckoned a Beauty, But the Men always thought me agreable [sic]" '.
