Description

Silk (damaged) embroidered with polychrome silks in satin, chain, back, stem, long & short and laid & couched stitches.
Oval, max. width 47.5cm x max. length 56.5cm

Framing polychrome border of meandering stem with various flowers with a bow at the top and a small shield inscribed "P K" at the bottom.
The map of England and Wales worked in black silk apart from a wreath/cartouche containing the inscription " A Map of/ England/and Wales"
