This medal was awarded to those who came first in various gunnery competitions held during the Annual Fleet Competitions. This medals clasp is inscribed with H.M.S."DEVONSHIRE" 1907. 7.5" B.L.".
History note: Possibly given by the Royal Mint as examples of Military medals.

Inscription present: A left facing profile of Edward VII.
Inscription present: Naked and cloaked Neptune grasping thunderbolts in the act of hurling the missile. Behind Neptune is the prow of a Roman trireme, drawn by three seahorses.
