Description

Medal awarded to all who had taken part in the campaign in China popularly known as the First Opium War. Ribbon is made up of crimson with yellow edges. There are three clasps inscribed as follows: "RELIEF OF PEKIN", "DEFENCE OF LEGATIONS", and "TAKU FORTS".

Notes

History note: Possibly given by the Royal Mint as examples of Military medals.
