This medal was given as an honorary reward, and presented to boys of the school Christ's Hospital, founded in 1553. Ones that were given out as prizes were punched however this one has been left as it was made.

Inscription present: Bust of Edward VI facing right, hat surmounted by a crown, small ruff, ermine robe, collar and George of the Garter.
Inscription present: Open Bible.
