Marriage Badge 1662
Ruler: Charles II (1660-85)
This crude badge or memorial was probably struck for sale in the streets at the time of the King's marriage, and for the time worn as ornaments.

Inscription present: Bust of Charles II, facing left, crowned, hair long, in lace cravat, ermine robes, and collar of the Garter. On the side C and R crowned.
Inscription present: Bust of Catherine, facing left, hair decorated with small coronet, and falling in a heavy mass behind, lace border to the gown ; in front, a crown.
