Inscription present: The Duke of Cumberland on horseback; Carlisle in the background.
Inscription present: The Duke as a Roman warrior presents an olive branch to Anglia, seated, her shield at her side, and holding a spear surmounted by the cap of Liberty: the "BIVLIA SACRA" on her seat. He is trampling on a fallen warrior, whose shield bears the Papal tiara; a broken sword and yoke lie on the ground.
