Frederick of Prussia. 1758.
Ruler: George II (1727-60)
This unusual uniface medal is presumed to be of Frederick II of Prussia. However the inscription shows "FRIDERICVS III". The date in the exergue counters this by showing 1775 in Roman numerals confirming its association with Frederick II. This could be an error by the engraver, most likely due to its poor manufacture.
