Inscription present: Allegorical figure of Netherlands crowned, a spear in her right hand, pointing upwards with her left hand, looking backward; an altar and bales of merchandise, the Dutch lion with thunderbolts in his paw, an anchor, guns and shot.
Inscription present: Rays in form of a star with the letter 'A' upon them, to right and left (Amsterdam Admiralty). In the centre and in between the rays, seven wreaths, each surrounding the name of an admiral, the centre wreath resting on two crossed anchors and encircled by a chain with a medal suspended.
