Description

Tian Xia Tai Ping (Peace on Earth) coins carry the reign/era titles of the Qian Long, Jia Qing, Dao Guang, Xian Feng, Tong Zhi, Guang Xu and Xuan Tong emperors on the obverse. Some are Board of Revenue products; others unofficial. They were used for presentation in the Palace of Ancestral Worship, each wrapped in a piece of rectangular cloth.
