Single sheet illustration; from album Haru no Iro, The Colours of Spring, published Tsutaya Jusaburo, Edo (1794)

The Pulverer Collection, USA, holds the complete album. The relevant sheet has significant differences in colours and possibly number of blocks. The album contains illustrations by 5 artists: Kitagawa Utamaro 喜多川歌麿 (1753-1806), Kitao Shigemasa 北尾重政, (1739-1820), Kubo Shunman 窪俊満 (1757-1820), Suzuki Rinshō 鈴木隣松, Tsutsumi Tōrin II 堤等琳 (active 1789-1801).
