Description

Serial: 58928581. Allied Military currency was printed after the Battle of Normandy in 1944 by the Allied Military Government for Occupied Territories (Washington, D.C.). The Provisional Government of the French Republic considered these AM-Franc bank notes as counterfeit money. Allied Military currency quickly lost its value.
