Description

Lead weight, round with tapering sides, with on the upper face a depression bearing the incuse impression of the obverse of a copper-alloy Nuremberg jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II (fl. 1586-1635), 118.49 g. Presumably the jetton, now missing, was originally attached to the upper surface of the weight, which may have been intended to weigh four ounces.
