Description

Lead or lead alloy coin-weight, 14th cent.?, Obv. Crowned bust of king in circular border, rev. Pattern of lines, square, c. 11 mm, 2.09g (chipped). This seems to be a previously unpublished weight for an English halfgroat (2d.) of 1351-1412 (cf. Withers, British Coin-Weights, nos 38-9).
