Collection of 297 pieces for keyboard.The first 95 are numbered in the original manuscript; nos. 96-297 are those given in the edition by J.A. Fuller Maitland and W. Barclay Squire (Breitkopf & Hartel, 1899 ; reprinted by Dover Publications, 1963; revised, 1980). Other sequences of numbers apply to the pieces by Giles Farnaby, Peter Philips, Sweelinck & Tomkins.
Editorial title.
Editions: see revised Dover edition, 2 vols, 1980, and various volumes of the Musica Britannica series.
Harpsichord music.
Possibly in the hand of Francis Tregian the Younger.
Watermark: "D" and 3 rings below Basle crozier (made by the Düring family of Basle)
