Caption at the beginning of the preface on leaf [a1] recto reads: Prohemio sopra laexpositione del pater noster Co[m]posta i[n] latino da frate Hieronymo da ferrara dellordine delli frati predicatori : & tradocta perli deuoti co[n]te[m]platori da uno suo amico in uulgare.
Three half-page woodcut illustrations: Agony in the Garden on leaf [a1] recto, St James writing at his desk on leaf a4 verso, Savonarola preaching to nuns on leaves c6 verso and c8 verso. Woodcut vignette of King David in prayer on leaf c1 recto, and small woodcut vignettes throughout as follows: Crucifix (repeated several times), St Paul (repeated 3 times), Hieremias, and Ezechiel.
