Heavily crizzled lead glass, blown. Circular, plain straight-sided body with scrolled handles on opposing sides and a curved spout at the front, marked with an approximately circular seal with an S, at the base of the spout.

The S mark has not been conclusively explained. It is currently thought to stand for the Savoy Glasshouse, London. The posset could have been made under George Ravenscroft before the problem of crizzling was solved, but could possibly have been made after 1681 when Hawley Bishopp was in charge.
