One of eleven medieval coins
French feudal, Blois, AR denier, c.940, immobilisation of Charles the Bald's GDR type, 1.37g. From a group sold by P. Rouillac, Vendôme, 25 Jan. 1997, lots 51-66, which derive from a 19th-century hoard from the Blois region (Moesgaard, in NC 1997, no. 2, this coin).
