Charles the Bald (840-77), AR denier, GDR type, Mayenne, rev. +MEDENASVITCVSI (MG 904; Prou 419), 1.72 g, pierced. This is perhaps only the third known specimen from this mint, the others being one in the Paris collection and one ex Mayer (269).
