Description

Clear glass, cut and engraved. Waisted cylindrical body with lip at the front and alternately scalloped and serrated rim; loop handle with serrated facets down the back and sides and a cut across the top to serve as a thumb rest. The sides decorated with flowing sprays of flowers and leaves which spring from the centre of the base.

Early 20th century
Production date: circa AD 1910 : See notes on Hawkes provided by Jane Shadel Spillman, Curator of American Glass, Corning Museum of Glass, with letter of 7th June, 1984. In object file. She gives a twenty year or perhaps more period from 1903 for the Gravic mark.
