Glassmaker: Unknown (Probably)
Clear glass, the stem containing a red thread, wheel-engraved. Funnel bowl; stem with a wrythen knop above a plain section containing a single spiralling thread; plain circular foot slightly domed. The bowl is decorated with three delicate floral swags each with a bird perching on top, suspended from pairs of scrolls with a bullrush between each. Round the rim there is a wavy line.
History note: H.S. Reitlinger (d.1950); the Reitlinger Trust, Maidenhead, from which transferred in 1991.
