Watermark: "LVG" below fleur de lis over Strasbourg bend; countermark: "IV" (Burrows C*50)
With ownership signature on p. 19: "Fitzwilliam, 1799"

[p. 19] For ever let his sacred praise : [SAATB chorus score of "Thou has prevented him" from the Coronation anthem "The King shall rejoice", HWV 260, with new text for use in the chorus "Let our glad songs" in Deborah, HWV 51 no. 39, but subseqently replaced with another text "O celebrate his sacred name", see GB Lbl R.M. 20.h.2 f. 57r and R.M. 20.h.5 f. 26 ]: [at top of page cue sign:] sublitera A -- [p. 20, end of lines 1-2] [Sketch or insertion for viola da gamba?, ca. 11 bars with a double bar with repeat signs, in G major] -- [p. 20 inverted] Since light so necessary is to life : [A (Micah), vl1-2, vla, bc] : [recitative accompagnato from Samson, HWV 57 no. 9, with insert below last bars]
