Illustrations engraved by I. Silvestre and F. Chauveau; added t.-p. engraved by G. Rousselet.
The ill. consist of views of the procession and tournament, costumes, emblematic devices of the participants, head- and tailpieces, and initials.
The ill. are the same as those in the French ed. (also Paris, 1670), except that the captions for all save the emblematic devices have been re-engraved in Latin.
Engraved t.p. vignette of the arms of Louis XIV.
Added engraved title-page with port. of Louis XIV.
Constitutes 10 volume of "Cabinet du roi" as described in "Catalogue des volumes d'estampes dont les planches sont à la Bibliothèque du Roy.- A Paris, de l'imprimerie royale, 1743"Title from: Catalogue des volumes d'estampes ... 1743.
