Each title page has an illustration: Volume: "Handel [after the Louis François Roubiliac statue] / George Cooke, sc." ; Judas Maccabaeus: "Come ever smiling Liberty ... / Isaac Taylor, sculp." ; Samson: "She stands and eyes thee fixed / drawn by Isaac Taylor jun.r, engraved by Isaac Taylor, sen.r"
Includes table of contents on the last unnumbered page of each score.
Judas Maccabaeus probably published ca. 1809.
Samson probably published ca. 1810.
Wholly engraved.

Provenance: Founder's bequest, 1816. Not inscribed but probably the part of the "Handel's works. 52 nos. in sheets. Dr. Clarke's Edition" listed in Bartleman's catalogue of the Bequest (MU.1452).
Received unbound. Bound in half calf with blind double lined edges and cloth imitation marbled sides, in approximately 1890.
Former shelfmark: 1 F 2 and possibly 29.H. cupboard.
