The third movement of Kenneth Hesketh's Concerto salmigondis, based on the "Carillon" part for the chorus "Or let the merry bells ring round" from Handel's L'Allegro, il Penseroso ed il Moderato (Fitzwilliam Museum manuscript MU.MS.265, pages 38-39.
"I am myself alone" -- note at the end (from the inscription at the foot of Joseph Goupy's caricature portrait of Handel playing the organ, entitled 'The charming brute').

Paper: 18 staves (252x375mm), no maker's name (glued along the top edge).
The damage at the bottom right corner of the paper was caused by the composer's cockactoo (Claudius).
Received unbound.
